The Baglietto T52, hull no.10238 displacement in steel and signed aluminium Francesco Paszkowski Design for both the exteriors and the interiors, the latter in collaboration with Margherita Casprini wins theNautical Oscar 2024 in the category “Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 45m and above”.

The awards ceremony took place last night at the Arsenale in Venice. The World Superyacht Award was awarded by the jury of shipowners and experts of Boat International magazine with the motivation: “(…) The judges noted the yacht’s large 135 square meter sundeck, which they called “one of the best spaces on board“.
They also appreciated the unusual design of the aft area with a beach club that is spread over three levels and includes a large 3.7 meter long swimming pool with a retractable floor.
In their evaluation, the judges also recognized the hybrid propulsion system that allows the commander to choose the most efficient cruise mode to contain fuel consumption and reduce environmental impact. “(…) The original design of the T52 fulfilled many of the owner’s wishes (…) A retractable ladder [collega abilmente il ponte sole con l’area lounge di prua sul ponte superiore, offrendo] a fresh and innovative connection to outdoor living on board, which the judges appreciated“.

«This award fills us with pride and particular emotion − is the immediate comment of the CEO Diego Michele Deprati − because it recognizes a project on which we have built not only the Baglietto of today, but also that of tomorrow and the near future. In this particular year in which Baglietto celebrates its 170th anniversary, this award puts the seal on a tradition which since the origins of the brand has always demonstrated its great ability to innovate and its vision for the future, without ever betraying its own roots.”

First hull of a successful line that saw the launch in just three years sale of 8 examples to be delivered in the next few years, the T52 has unique features. The lines brushed by Francesco Paszkowski Design recall the classic stylistic features of the Baglietto displacement tradition in steel under the 500GT. The line also includes the possibility of hybrid engines, for a more efficient navigation mode aimed at reducing consumption and environmental impact.

Contact with the sea is guaranteed by the design of the open stern with a beach club arranged on 3 levels, which has already become a trademark of the new Baglietto course: the large swimming pool has the particularity of a “hidden” closure, thanks to a floor with up/down movement which allows the deck space to be further extended when not in use. The large full-height windows that open on 3 sides of the upper deck create an “al fresco” lounge area with a conversation area and dining area that can be enjoyed in any weather situation. The approximately 24 meter long sun deck is another distinctive element of the Baglietto style.
