Tragedy this afternoon, Monday 6 May 2024, in Corso Garibaldi in Venaria.
A man from 1942, resident in our area, died following a road accident that occurred around 5.30pm. The man was aboard a BMW and was headed towards the center of Venaria when he lost control of the car, hitting two other cars traveling in the opposite direction: a Fiat Punto and a 500
Attempts to resuscitate him by the 118 healthcare personnel of the Royal Cross Public Assistance and the Green Cross were in vain: everything suggested an illness.
The Carabinieri of the Venaria station and mobile radio branch intervened on site to manage traffic and reconstruct the dramatic accident.
Another man, the driver of the Fiat Punto, was transported to Ciriè hospital for facial trauma. The driver of the 500 XL, however, was in shock.
The artery was closed to traffic in both directions from the roundabout in Via Iseppon up to and including Largo Garibaldi.
