Accident on the A24, several vehicles involved: there are injured

The A24 was once again involved in an accident. In this case, several vehicles were involved and the intervention of health workers was also necessary.

Accidents on the A24 don’t stop. In the early afternoon today, Monday 6 May 2024, there was a collision near the Carsoli exit which saw at least three vehicles involved. The intervention of police officers as well as firefighters and medical personnel was immediate.

According to the information available, one person was extracted by firefighters in very serious conditions and urgently transported to hospital for all the necessary treatment. The others involved in this accident did not suffer any particular problems and were treated on site and then sent home. An investigation has been opened to try to better reconstruct the dynamics of what happened.

The reconstruction of the accident

The dynamics of this accident are still being investigated by the officers. According to the information that has been made known, the chain clash it involved at least three vehicles and among these also a van, which capsized. Help arrived on site immediately. The medical staff, thanks to the support of the firefighters, helped all the people involved in the accident.

One of them was pulled from her car unconscious and hence the decision to urgently transport her to hospital to provide all the necessary treatment. For the other injured the dressings were done on site.

Traffic problems

Of course the accident resulted various traffic problems. The entire stretch of motorway affected by the collision was blocked to allow both treatment and the landing of the air ambulance. After a few hours the situation returned to normal.
