UPDATE
This afternoon, May 6, 2024, a collision occurred between two motorcycles – a BMW and a Honda – on the 121 highway, which left two people injured.
The drivers of the two vehicles involved were injured in the accident.
After initial treatment provided at the scene of the accident, both were transferred to hospital for further medical checks and treatment. Fortunately, their injuries do not appear to be serious.
Carabinieri officers immediately intervened on the scene to conduct the necessary investigations in order to establish the exact dynamics of the accident.
Following this accident, the stretch of highway involved suffered severe traffic slowdowns. The authorities are currently involved in managing the situation to restore normal road traffic.
