The recent obtaining of financing to build a new kindergarten in Aprilia has sparked controversy between the majority and the opposition. In fact, those who intervene are the minority councilors who claim paternity of the project to create a nursery school in via Pergolesi, financed with over 2 million thanks to the decree of 30 April 2024 by the Ministries of Economy and Education, underlining how the project had been presented by the Terra administration, admitted to the ranking and awaiting funding. “Let’s express satisfaction for the upcoming construction – say the members of Aprilia Civica – of a new school dedicated to children. A result resulting from the territorial planning that in recent years the civic coalition has been able to conceive and implement together with the work of the municipal offices. We strongly felt the need of Aprilian families to expand the offer relating to schools and spaces dedicated to the younger groups of our social fabric. So after the D’Alessio nursery and the structure in via Istria, the design of via Pergolesi-Monteverdi has also been rewarded with ministerial funding. The structure, part of the Toscanini comprehensive institute, will absorb, among other things, the complex in Via Da Vinci which will therefore be moved. The operation, therefore, in addition to providing a new structure serving the city, will see savings in economic terms for the municipal coffers given the cancellation of the rent of the old complex. Let us draw a veil of compassion, however, with respect to the attitude held also in this circumstance by the majority of Princes who, in informing the ccity, in addition to reporting incorrect data contained in the ministerial decree, forgot to say that it is a Pnrr loan obtained thanks to the political strategy of the civic breakfast that governed the city”.

In particular, the opposition councilors claim that this financing is not the result of the government chain but of the projects implemented in the recent past. “The centre-right, improperly speaking of the centre-right government chain, has appropriated, in an incredible manner, merits that do not belong to it. In a childish and propagandistic manner he ignored what has been built in recent years to the benefit of Aprilian families. In addition to being an incorrect attitude from an administrative point of view, it reveals a questionable profile from a democratic one: this center-right led by Princes lies to the citizens. He lies knowing he is lying given that the mayor himself and many members of this majority were part of the last municipal administration. Many of them know very well the process that led to obtaining the financing in question. For the series, lies have short legs, we will fully play our role and reveal the truth to the city. We will do this on every occasion by unmasking the hoaxes set up by this government majority. We are already announcing, subject to new lies, that new important works conceived and planned by the civic coalition will soon be financed, such as the so-called Pinqua. Finally, given the messes of recent times, we advise some members of the Principi council to commit themselves more to their work and to avoid electoral catwalks alongside party representatives who we have never seen in Aprilia and who we will never see again. Our city is not a mere reservoir of votes, the citizens of Aprilia deserve more respect.”
