NAPLES, 05 MAY – Another very serious road accident occurred during the night in Naples, two hours before the fatal collision in which a 21-year-old girl lost her life while searching for the car that hit her. In via Leopardi, in the Fuorigrotta district, a 27-year-old girl, residing right in her street, after an evening spent with her friends, was accompanied with the girls home in a taxi. She got out of the car outside her house, while she was crossing via Leopardi, at the intersection with via Rossetti, she was hit by a car driven by a 24-year-old boy and with a 22-year-old passenger on board. The investment was extremely violent, it seems that the girl who was hit was thrown forward about 30 metres. The driver of the car continued driving only to return to the scene after 30 minutes, where he was intercepted by Municipal Police officers who intervened to provide assistance and carry out investigations. The condition of the girl who was hit immediately appeared serious and she was transported by 118 ambulance to the S. Paolo hospital where she was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The prosecutor on duty was notified and the vehicle was seized, and the driver was subjected to toxicological tests.
