On the occasion of the anniversary of Giacomo Matteotti’s death, the Lazio Region promotes the creation of cultural initiatives and events dedicated to his memory, as established by regional law no. 23 of 29 December 2023 and the subsequent DGR 153/2024.
Beneficiaries, object and financial resources
The invitation is aimed at associations that intend to organize initiatives or events in memory of the murder of Giacomo Matteotti, to be held in Lazio in 2024.
The purpose of the invitation is to recognize financial support for the realization of such initiatives or events.
The overall financial resources allocated by the Lazio Region are equal to 80,000.00 euros. The maximum amount of support that can be granted for each proposal presented is 20,000.00 euros.
Each proposer may present a maximum of no. 2 requests proposed separately, even relating to multiple initiatives and/or events.
In accordance with current state and regional laws, there must be no impediments to the granting of public benefits for applicants.
The contributions referred to in this Notice cannot be cumulated with other forms of financing and/or contributions provided by the Lazio Region and/or dependent bodies; therefore, subjects who have already received, for the same initiative, contributions under specific regional laws, granted by the Lazio Region through the dependent Directorates or Bodies, are excluded from the contribution.
Without prejudice to what is specified below, to demonstrate possession of the aforementioned requirements the applicant, under his own responsibility, may make use of the self-certification system, pursuant to articles. 46 and 47 of the Presidential Decree of 28 December 2000, n. 445 (Consolidated law on legislative and regulatory provisions regarding administrative documentation).
The Region will be able to carry out suitable ex-post checks, including sampling of the substitute declarations received, in order to ascertain the truthfulness of the declarations made and the existence of the requirements set out in the Notice, through the acquisition of all the data necessary to prove what declared
Method of submitting the application
The application must be submitted via PEC to the address [email protected], with the subject: “Initiatives for the 100th anniversary of the death of Giacomo Matteotti”, the expression of interest drawn up in accordance with the model attached to this invitation, appropriately signed and accompanied, under penalty of exclusion, by the following documents:
– description of the initiative and/or event, with indication of the places where it will take place (max 3000 characters);
– detailed timetable of activities;
– possible list of public and private bodies and organizations involved;
– copy of the identity document;
– detailed cost plan/estimate with indication of the contribution requested.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 18, 2024 at 2.00 pm.
