Dfter the preview on Mediaset Infinity, Purple like the sea 2 debuts on Channel 5. The first episode of the new season of the series starring Francesca Chillemi and Can Yaman airs tonight at 9.30pm. The other five episodes will be broadcast on Thursday evenings.

There are many upheavals that Viola Vitale (Francesca Chillemi) and Francesco Demir (Can Yaman) they have to face. First of all, Sonia Tacconi (Valeria Milillo)Francesco’s mother, arrives in Palermo to urgently meet his son. Demir doesn’t want to know anything about it, but he will be forced to think back to that rejected meeting.
Sonia, in fact, has a car accident. He suffers multiple fractures and goes into a coma. The new characters

Last but not least, the new publisher Leonardo Piazza (Ninni Bruschetta). He is good, intuitive, human. He understands that Viola has an uncommon empathy and decides to entrust her with the newspaper’s podcasts. Viola would like to leave crime reporting to deal with customs and society, but Piazza sees something in her and convinces her not to change her path.

THEn regards to their relationship with Francesco, they will soon have to understand how to manage their respective emotions. Francesco is still convinced that he is not made for a relationship. “I’m not capable of loving anyone,” he confesses, but who knows, the arrival of another new entry might change his mind.
It’s about Matteo Ferrara (Giovanni Scifoni), a charming man who Viola meets on the beach. He courts her straight away, but the matter becomes complicated when he discovers that he is the new PM with whom Francesco collaborates. And there is no bad blood between the two. A starting point that allows you to imagine the start of a love triangle which will accompany the entire season.
Also among the key topics the hunt for the person responsible for Sonia’s accident and the search for Francesco’s real father, as well as Viola’s. About this, Demir harbors an atrocious doubt, but he will only be able to resolve it with the necessary investigations…

To sign the direction of Purple like the sea 2 I’m Alexis Sweet and Laszlo Barbo. The series is reproduced by RTI and Lux Vide and is based freely on the novel Do you know summer?, by Simona Tanzini.
