Yesterday morning, in San Cataldo, the senior inspector of the State Police, Nadia Lumia (of the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Caltanissetta Police Headquarters), met the students of the “Filippo Juvara” Art School.

“During the meeting the children were made aware of the very current issue of gender violence and the current legislation. The meeting is part of the permanent campaign of education, awareness and information of young people by the State Police against gender violence”, clarifies a short note.

The writer Mariella Buono from San Cataldo was also present. As you will remember, last March 23, the important social campaign to raise public awareness was presented in Caltanissetta. An initiative born by the author of San Cataldo at the Sicilbanca headquarters.

Journalist Michele Bruccheri moderated the meeting. Among the speakers, in addition to the president Giuseppe Di Forti, judge Giovanbattista Tona (judge and councilor of the Court of Appeal of Caltanissetta) and doctor Pinuccia Albertina Agnello (police officer of Caltanissetta).
