Finally, the case of the boy hit by the incoming train yesterday morning near Via Casilina, who died after a few minutes, was reconstructed by the Operations Department of the Railway Police of the capital’s airport.
The young man, not yet identified, probably a South American foreigner between 20 and 30 years old, as reconstructed by the Polfer police, had stolen a smartphone from the bag of a Nigerian girl at the bus stop in the Casilina area, and then fled into that “free zone” of the railway which, crossing it, takes you to the opposite side of the neighborhood, in the Pigneto area, making you lose your traces across the railway with many tracks, holed networks and easily climbable walls.
But this time this predatory action, which is often carried out by the many criminals who live between the Termini station area, Casilina and Pigneto, cost the life of the mugger, hit by the train arriving from Cassino-Colleferro-Ciampino, with 300 people approximately on board, which was traveling at normal speed before entering the station at Porta San Lorenzo.
The agents of the Termini Railway Police, the scientific team, the 118 staff and the medical examiner immediately intervened on the spot and confirmed the death of the young man, perhaps a Peruvian citizen, according to what some present declared, whose body was transported by the Mortuary Police at the mortuary of the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, waiting for someone to claim him for a dignified burial.
