A portion of the wall that delimits the Belgiojoso telescope park and private property collapsed during the night and will now be surrounded with red-white tape to prevent anyone from getting close and getting hurt. In all likelihood, checks will then be carried out on the rest of the building to avoid further collapses.
The event probably occurred during the night, also due to the rain.
Some citizens reported the fact to the technical office today late in the morning, during a walk in the green area that connects the senior center to the cemetery, they noticed the wall collapsed in the eastern part, also dragging the metal mesh and the stakes used to secure it. It was immediately clear that this was not a “work in progress” but rather an accidental event.
The report to the building brought a worker and local police officers to the site who carried out the inspection and agreed with the manager in charge to cordon off the area.
For the moment, no closure of the park has been planned but it is to be believed that for public safety, given the enormous influx of people who walk in the green area every day, appropriate checks will be activated on the rest of the wall.
