CETRARO (Cs) – The scout groups of. took part in the event, which began on Friday 26 April Fagnano Castello, Roggiano Gravina, San Marco Argentano and Cetraro. Present were explorers and guides, boys and girls aged between 12 and 16, accompanied by their department heads.

The young scouts set up tents and camped in the park Colonia San Benedetto preparing to live three days dedicated to scout friendship and brotherhood. Afterwards they dedicated themselves to the various jobs to organize the camp and prepare to spend the first night.

In the weekend entirely dedicated to followers of Baden-Powell, the creator of scouting, the young scouts did not let themselves be discouraged by the strong gusts of wind that were not exactly spring-like at the weekend, and completed their planned activities.

On Saturday, however, the group of young people was involved in one treasure hunt to discover the city by visiting the most evocative places in Cetraro.

Other challenges, always in the name of fun, continued until Sunday with the Eucharistic celebration entrusted to the vicar Don Loris Sbarra.

During the homily, the parish priest of the San Marco parish invited the children to be arsonists of the love of Christ and light the world with the beauty of Christ.
