Today’s morning, Thursday 2 May, shortly after 10.25am, the firefighters had to intervene due to the sudden collapse of part of a house. The collapse occurred in a building located in the municipality of Bioglio.
Fortunately it is an uninhabited house, so there were no people inside at that moment.
The building and the area have been made safe
Firefighters from the Cossato detachment intervened on site. Once they arrived on site, they proceeded to delimit and secure the area until the arrival of technicians from the provincial fire brigade command of Biella to carry out a risk assessment of the building.

The collapse also affected some electrical cables
The collapse also affected electricity cables which were restored by the relevant technicians. The deputy mayor of the municipality also went to the scene.
