Fire of cars and motorbikes during the night in Sestri Ponente, the firefighters intervened around two o’clock on Wednesday 1st May 2024 in via Luigi Marchelli, a side street of via Ursone da Sestri, near the railway station, where the fire.
The flames engulfed three cars and some parked motorbikes, the firefighters put out the fire and cleared the area in about an hour of work with three teams, a non-trivial intervention in a fairly narrow street.
Bus catches fire while traveling, scary moments
The causes are currently unknown, investigations have been started and for the moment no leads have been ruled out, not even malicious ones. On the afternoon of Tuesday 30 April 2024, the firefighters intervened in Rapallo to put out the fire on a bus. The vehicle had caught fire while traveling, passengers and driver had managed to save themselves and call for help.
