The exhibition dedicated to Doctors with Africa CUAMM

Comment Don Dante CarraroCUAMM director: «We live in a time afflicted by wars and clashes that constantly occupy our thoughts. I believe that we all have a duty to build “peace”, in every place and on every occasion. Everyone’s concrete commitment is to “give” peace as a response, even with small gestures that we make every day. We do it in Africa, with daily and ineradicable conviction, through the work and dedication of many doctors and collaborators who build a silent peace, which cannot be seen, but is real. We also want to do it with opportunities for dialogue and meeting here in Italy, opportunities like the one offered by this exhibition, to change perspective, to remove ourselves from the “centre” and get to the last mile, alongside those who suffer.”
