Great attention was paid to the slow aiming competition at 25 meters in the short-fire category in the context of the first Malta vs Sicily trophy in the Sniper Club shooting range in Pedalino where the sporting event took place. Guarantor of the event is the president of the structure, as well as, if necessary, shooting director and provincial manager of the Csen sector as well as member of the national commission, namely Giovanni Canzonieri, all under the aegis and support of the provincial Csen committee of Ragusa led by President Sergio Cassisi.
A sequence of 5 shots was fired in 150 seconds for a total of 60 shots per shooter and after many performances and just as much adrenaline seasoned with unnerving counts, the sweaty battle was defined which placed the following shooters individually on the podium: first place Giovanni Novara with a total of 537/600 + 11 Mouches; second place Anthony Mifsud with a total of 534/600 + 7 Mouches; third Giancarlo Lo Presti with a total of 524/600 + 4 Mouches. Followed by all the other 15 shooters with their excellent performances. The reversal of the front was recorded in the total team count: the Maltese squadron won with a super total of 4293 + 29 Mouches compared to the Italian team with a total of 4114 + 31 Mouches. All this, however, turns out to be the prelude to a well-deserved revenge given that in six months the athletes have made a new appointment to challenge each other once again.
