Genoa. Extremely serious road accident with at least two victims this evening, between Sanremo and Arma di Taggia, on the A10 towards Genoa. According to what was reported by Riviera24, a truck would have overturned, crushing a car against another truck, killing two of the people traveling in the car instantly.
Firefighters from the Ventimiglia detachment rushed to the scene, along with ambulances from Sanremo Soccorso, Croce Verde Intemelia and Croce Azzurra Val Nervia, two medical vehicles from 118 and the Grifo and Drago helicopters coming from Albenga.
According to what was gathered on site, there were four other injured people considered serious, one of whom is in very serious condition. The road system is severely compromised, with the section closed to traffic: the ucompulsory skiing for heavy vehicles with ban on the circulation of vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes between Ventimiglia and Arma Di Taggia in the eastern direction.
