John 14,27-31
From the Gospel according to John
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
«I leave you peace, I give you my peace. Not as the world gives it, I give it to you.
Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid. You heard that I said to you: “I am going and will return to you”. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than me. I have told you now, before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe.
I will not speak with you any longer, because the prince of the world is coming; he can do nothing against me, but the world must know that I love the Father, and as the Father has commanded me, so I act.”
