Voting continues for the Ballon d’Or Promotion, Second And Third Category of the Prize VareseSport and after just a few days we are already recording record numbers.
In fact, they are already well 35,000 the votes received for the candidates in the three different categories. Very important numbers which flatter us but which make the fight for the prize even more exciting: we remind you that it is possible to express only one preference for each category, by voting every 6 hours, until 11.59pm Of Thursday 2 May.
These are the candidates:
PROMOTION
SIMONE BORSANI (Bmv Academy): striker born in 1996, he scored 8 goals in the season and accompanied his team on a ride that earned them 2nd place with 57 points. It was sporting director Michele Luca who strongly wanted it, and regardless of how this individual recognition and the season finale goes, he will be able to say he won his bet.
MANUEL ESTERI (Besnatese): midfielder born in ’94 will be the BMV Academy’s playoff opponent. or at least his teammates will be since he is struggling with an injury. After 8 seasons in Gavirate, last summer he embraced the Besnatese cause, taking the keys to the midfield and scoring on 4 occasions.
STEFANO MALACARNE (Lentatese): pillar of the Lentatese with which he won the championship, he is one of the veterans of the rossoblù locker room having worn this shirt for nine seasons. Right winger born in 1994, he was ready in front of goal 4 times, and did not spare himself in assists.
NICOLÒ OLDRINI (Ispra): striker born in 1997, another undisputed protagonist of the year in Promotion, where he took Ispra to the top levels up to 4th position. His total of 18 goals, scored in all possible ways, could not fail to end up in the coaches’ notebook in this vote.
MARCELLO PAOLUZZI (Canegrate): numbers are enough for him: top scorer in the championship with 25 goals in 30 games, beating the record set two seasons ago with the Sedriano shirt. He was a fundamental pivot of Canegrate who finished with 37 points, in a quiet area.
SECOND CATEGORY
MANUEL BERNASCONI (Caesar): The striker born in 2000 recorded his best season ever with 26 goals, goals which greatly helped his team to achieve their goal of survival.
LORENZO CALDOGNO (Cuassese): young full-back born in 2002, he found himself in the presence of many strong attackers and never disfigured himself, in fact he deserved the nomination from the coaches.
EMANUELE COSSO (Valceresio): The striker born in ’94 is now a regular at this event given that last year he was a candidate for the First Category award with Luino. This year he chose a change of scenery and took the summit together with his companions.
FRANCESCO GIARDINO (Eagles Caronno): midfielder born in ’97 was undoubtedly the cornerstone of his team, as well as a player who left his mark with his plays throughout the season
PIETRO PIVATO (France Sport): the dream of 1st place is over, now all energies are concentrated on the last day and the playoffs. The striker born in 2003, who has scored 23 goals to date, wants to fight until the end with his teammates for something big.
THIRD CATEGORY
ALESSANDRO BELTRAMI (Brebbia): striker born in ’91 for Brebbia, he won the Third Category title and it couldn’t have been otherwise given that 27 times, and in all possible ways, he punctured the opposing goalkeepers. He enjoys the celebration together with his teammates for this success, he will also try to amaze in this “individual competition”.
GASPARE CAMMARERI (Cittiglio): striker born in 1990 at Cittiglio, he is one of the most experienced players in the category. This year he scored 23 goals, which however did not take his team beyond 12th place with 22 points.
YAHAYA KEITA (Concagnese): the bitter taste in the mouth for the missed title, a great desire for revenge in the next playoffs: the striker born in ’97 certainly doesn’t want to stop after the 23 goals scored in the regular season, and is ready to be a protagonist also in the next challenges in or out.
MATTIA MEDDE (Sumiraghese): a past in Solbiatese, then only Sumirago in the heart. Super season for the striker born in 2001 who scored 21 goals helping his team reach 4th place with 44 points.
STEFANO DOSI (Casbeno): defender born in ’97, he was able to keep the championship attacks at bay with all his determination. The season with the team was worth an 8th place with 27 points.
