L’Inter at Palazzo Marino, seat of the Municipality of Milan, and awarded the Ambrogino d’Oro. Beppe Sala, mayor of the Lombardy capital, had spoken about it in recent days and confirmed the intention. Reached on the sidelines of the commemoration for Sergio Ramelli, the 19-year-old Milanese student militant of the Youth Front killed in 1975 by a group linked to Avanguardia Operaia, the mayor responded to reporters on the topic as follows: “There is no update. Obviously I preferred to leave them alone from this point of view though I spoke with the leaders and also with President Zhang from China and so now we will put ourselves there.”

The joke about Milan. Avowedly an Inter fan, Sala responded with irony to those who suggest different treatment for the two Milan teams: “Milan are 3 years old, if they hurry up a bit, I can be the mayor who gives Ambrogino twice for the second star, now let’s see.”

Over three hundred thousand in the streets of Milan. In conclusion, the mayor commented on the night of Inter celebrations, which passed by without any particular issues of public order: “There was concern for so many people in the square, but we have a Prefecture and a Police Headquarters that work very well here in Milan. We saw it on April 25th, I was there, while yesterday I was at home. The start wasn’t easy either, there were delicate moments but they worked extremely well.”
