From the European signature collection for compulsory origin on all foods to the issues still open in Europe that undermine the economic sustainability of agricultural companies, there are many topics on the table tomorrow, 30 April, on the day that celebrates Coldiretti pride to retrace the successes achieved in the first 80 years of the largest agricultural association in Italy and Europe and identify future trajectories and objectives.
No fewer than 50,000 farmers in all the provinces of Italy, from north to south, will mobilize to meet in 96 assemblies to build, starting from the base, the next battles that will see Coldiretti engaged in the months to come and also in view of the European elections .
At the provincial level, the assembly will be held tomorrow, 30 April, starting from 7.30 pm, at the “Giardino dei Tigli” in Cussanio – Fossano, where hundreds of Coldiretti member managers from all over Granda will meet with the provincial President Enrico Nadathe director Fabiano Porcu and the participation of the CEO of Filiera Italia, Luigi Scordamaglia.
“Tomorrow will be an important day to shed light on future challenges, on the battles and mobilizations that we are carrying out and which we will continue in the coming months with the enthusiasm, strength and determination that have always distinguished us. We have 80 years of history behind us alongside farmers, a history of which we are proud, a history of supporting the economic income of agricultural companies and a history of supply chain to enhance local and national products. We continue along this path with conviction” declares the President of Coldiretti Cuneo, Enrico Nada.
The Coldiretti pride day will involve the entire territory with yellow flags flying together with banners tied in strategic points with requests against unfair imports, fake Made in Italy or the request for an invasion plan.
The day will be an opportunity for promote the collection of signatures nofakeinitaly , for a popular European law to guarantee transparency on the labels of all foods; will be one of the main issues that farmers will face, with the abolition of the Customs Code for the origin of food must become a priority.
“It is no longer acceptable to witness scenes like those experienced during the Brenner mobilization, where hams, tomato paste, fruit or vegetables were seen arriving and becoming, with the latest substantial transformation in all respects, Italian products .
