In view of the next municipal elections of Ponte dell’Olio, the “Ponte Viva” list presents its candidates for the municipal council: they are Mario Azzali, Rebecca Boselli, Giuseppe Fogliazza, Donata Venturi, Giorgio Beltrani, Giulia Villa, Giancarlo Cappellini , Nicole Risposi, Celestina Giraldi, Lucia Lusardi and Lucia Zaffignani. “Among the points of the program – they explain – is to enhance the existing paths, trekking and horse-trekking routes, geolocate those that are not, and complete them with the indication of refreshment points, accommodation and the possibility of purchasing wines and local products; train hiking guides to accompany groups on walks/trekking and connect managers who promote route and circuit initiatives (including motorbikes) at provincial, regional and supra-regional level in order to include our territory in them; expand the offer of the Cementi Rossi Sports Center, this area must become a promoter of well-being for the community and visitors. There, the union of physical activity and good food, at 0 km, could create new opportunities. The presence of sports educators from different disciplines, in collaboration with CONI, could make the Sports Center become a place for pre-selecting talent. The possibilities available to guarantee use of the facilities over a longer period of time during the year will be evaluated, with the dual objective of improving the sporting offer for citizens and making the activity more attractive for potential managers”.

“The areas adjacent to the Fornaci, symbol of Ponte dell’Olio, will become places of youth aggregation, in continuity or not with the present educational activities. The WIFI that will power the entire area will allow the creation of “islands” of study and group activities for cultural purposes. In the area around the Fornaci it will be possible to set up smart-working areas to facilitate remote work without the inconveniences that are sometimes present due to the co-presence of other people in one’s home, using modules powered by renewable energy for heating the single “island of Work””. Finally, “promote initiatives such as “Summer wine taste”, a course to learn the art of wine tasting and prevent “binge drinking”, the intake of large quantities of alcohol in a short time, a growing phenomenon which causes acute alcohol intoxication in adolescents and young adults”.
