A mason of Egyptian origins 42 years old And died in hospital after an accident at work. The man had been hospitalized on April 24th due to injuries sustained following an accident in a construction site in Monza.

The 42 year old had been hit by a crane beam which suddenly fell apart. Rescued by the medical team and the health personnel of the Lissonese Green Cross – as reported by The day – the 42-year-old was transported to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza, under code red and in serious conditions. However, hospital treatment was not enough: after five days of hospitalization, the bricklayer died.

Investigations by the prosecutor’s office and ATS technicians are still underway to understand the causes that led to the injury and therefore the man’s death.
