At the Italian Master Championships of multiple events and relays which were held over the weekend in Vercelli, Vittorio Alfieri Asti achieved two prestigious podiums.
Franco Povero climbs to the top step of the podium, wearing the gold medal around his neck and becoming Italian Champion in the M70 decathlon. Having started well on the first day, Franco, known by the Alfieri Evergreen Club as “the King of the Relays” for his ten gold medals in this specialty, managed to hold first place also on the second and celebrated 15 years after victory in multiple tests by SM55.

In the F45 heptathlon Sabina Dell’Angelo, returning from an injury that limited her performance in the seven specialties, won the silver medal behind the Tuscan Francesca D’Annibale.
Again in the decathlon, but in the M50 category, eighth place for Gaetano Glorioso with 2012 points.

Vittorio Alfieri was also present in the Swedish women’s relays, where the SF60 team made up of Francesca Juri, Silvia Binello, Marilena Borretta and Debora Ferro finished in fourth place.
