Fraud on the elderly, an increasingly frequent phenomenon that can be limited by providing information. For this reason, the Municipality of Olgiate Molgora organizes a meeting with the Carabinieri to explain to the elderly how to defend themselves.

“How many sad stories have we heard of deceptions committed against elderly people deceived by unscrupulous individuals who take advantage of their fragility? Too many – we read in the announcement of the event – It’s time to do something, to make these scammers understand that the elderly are not alone, that each of us feels the urgency to protect them and help them defend themselves”.
For this reason, the Municipality of Olgiate Molgora in collaboration with the Carabinieri is organizing a meeting on Friday 3 May at 3pm in the council room to learn how to protect and defend yourself from these scams. Seniors are particularly invited, but not only.
“Protecting the elderly and in particular those who live alone and who are more exposed to scams is a duty and a priority for everyone and it is important to understand how to network around them” concludes the communication, inviting elderly and frail people to participate in the ‘encounter.
