PONTINIA – Big blow for HC Cassa Rurale Pontinia in Lombardy: they beat Cassano Magnago (28-30), ousting them from the championship race, rising to 29 points in the women’s A1 series handball championship standings and mathematically qualifying for the play-offs off the championship with a round to spare.
Everything as in last season, including the opponents they will have to face (Jomi Salerno, AC Life Style Erice and Brixen Südtirol) in the semi-final pool that leads to the title of Italian Champion.
