Confindustria Udine, “through all its bodies and representing all associated companies”, expresses “profound sadness and an enormous sense of loss for the passing of its president, the engineer Giampietro Benedetti, a true giant in the world of industry and a point of reference for our entire community.” This was reported in a note from the industrialists’ organisation.
“With his passing, we lose not only an extraordinary leader, but also a mentor, an inspirer, and a friend to many of us. His bold vision, unwavering commitment, and infectious passion guided generations of entrepreneurs and left a legacy ‘indelible mark on the industrial fabric of our territory and the entire country, but its caliber goes further, on an international level”, continues the note. Benedetti is remembered, “as well as for his notable professional successes, testimony to an industrious life dedicated to doing, also for his great generosity and humility. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his extraordinary legacy, which will live on in the hearts and minds of those he met and will continue, we are sure, to inspire future innovators and leaders. May his example of determination, integrity and compassion illuminate our path.” Finally, Confindustria expresses its “deepest condolences to the family, friends and all colleagues of President Benedetti”.
