There was a possibility (albeit remote) on the eve of the last day of the championship: 4 teams tied at the top of the table. Well yes, it really happened: with Asperiam’s draw and the victories of Cologno, Grignano and Excelsior, at the end of the championship we have these 4 teams all together with 60 points in first place. A Second Category B group that will remain in the history of amateur football in Lombardy and beyond. For the title (and the consequent direct promotion to the Prima) Oratorio Cologno and Asperiam will compete in a play-off, due to the different rankings. The loser will face the winner of the other 2 top teams in the playoff final, namely Atletico Grignano and Excelsior, ”penalized” by the separate rankings. Verdello, however, was cut out of the playoffs due to the gap. Cologno, meanwhile, beating San Tomaso 5-2, condemned the Bergamo team to last place in the standings and consequently to relegation, thanks to the victory of Città di Dalmine (which secured the playouts) over Trealbe 4-1.
