«With the first wife we separated gradually, I left the second. The third wanted to live in London and I in India. From one of the four marriages Kabir Bedi had two children, a boy and a girl. The first took his own life at the age of 25. «He was a genius who graduated in computer science in America, very intelligent, and suffered from schizophrenia. He was a good man, never violent. Then when he started he suffered from schizophrenia, after an accident in Canada he became one. I wanted to save him but then I failed because he took his own life. It was the most painful moment of my life. He made this decision after having a discussion with me. I wanted to stop him but he was determined to do so. There is no greater pain than losing a child and I feel guilty.”
The actor then sends a message of hope to viewers: «To those who follow us at home I say: I don’t want you to lose hope, the medicines are more effective now than they were then». Meditation helped Kabir Bedi overcome this tragedy: «Since then hor decided to change my life».
