Extraordinary feat by Casati Arcore who won first place in the Italian Gold 3 rhythmic gymnastics team championship at the Palavesuvio in Naples. After winning the regional title and also granting an encore in the Interregional final in technical zone 1, the green and white athletes completed their fantastic season with the “golden hat-trick” by dominating the national competition played in the Neapolitan city to which teams selected in the inter-regional tests had been admitted. The protagonists of this feat are the gymnasts Asia Natasha Fava, Matilde Bidinotto and Mia Brunelli all born in 2014, very young but with plenty of grit and determination.
And they demonstrated it in a convincing and witty way with collective free body exercise. After the first, excellent performance, it followed the exercise paired with hoops, the most insidious but the girls were able to maintain concentration certified by the best score. To finish the last execution with l‘individual ball exercise carried out by Asia, practically flawless and rated with the best score in the competition. Three performances of the highest level which apply to the gymnasts of Arcore reached the top step of the podium with full merit at the end of the comparison with the 28 best teams from all over Italy.

In the final classification of the Championship the Casati Arcore team achieved the total 62,700 points and he climbed to the Italian podium with the Zodiaco di Ravenna (61,850 points) and Riboli di Lavagna (61,150 points) teams. The Casati girls competing were accompanied by their coaches Simona Mattavelli, Aurora Sabattini, Morena Scoglio and Alexandra Naumchuk. “The one obtained in Naples is a historic result for the Rhythmic sector of our company, demonstrating the high level work carried out by everyone within the walls of the Palaunimec. – comments the president Antonio Radice – The tears of joy were the right culmination of a journey that saw all our gymnasts who had worked together for five months with passion and a lot of commitment, under the expert guidance of their coaches, on the exercises performed in the final, an emotion that it also resurfaced on the notes of Mameli’s anthem which filled the hearts of coaches, parents and fans present at Palavesuvio. Now the work continues for the next competition scheduled for the beginning of May which will see the girls reunite with their classmates Greta Morandi and Emma Frigerio for the 5 hoops team championship”.
