Yesterday was a real ordeal for users of the Circumvesuviana. Between Castellammare di Stabia and Vico Equense a train remained stuck in the tunnel at Pozzano height with the consequent interruption of the line between the two stations. All this on a day full of tourists, also complicates the long weekend of April 25th and the pleasant temperatures. Many travelers are disoriented and in difficulty due to communications only in Italian and the unavailability of an alternative means of transport.
There are many testimonies reporting the situation experienced at the stations of Vico Equense and Castellammare di Stabia, as well as at the Pioppaino station where many travelers remained stranded for a long time.
A nightmare Saturday for which it is difficult to find the right words. We rely on a post reported by the Facebook page “Circumvesuviana. Guide to suppressions and unsolved mysteries” which, seasoning everything with a pinch of irony, always acts as a spokesperson for the inconveniences and disservices linked to the transport line: «Everything I experienced in this long and traumatic day in Vesuviana.
