CASALI DEL MANCO One dead and two seriously injured. This is the outcome of the accident that occurred in Sila along the 108 bis to Lorica, in the Mellaro area, in the territory of the Municipality of Casali del Manco. A car, a Fiat Punto, and three motorbikes were involved in the accident and collided for reasons still under investigation. The worst case was a 37-year-old from Settingiano, in the province of Catanzaro, who was traveling on one of the motorbikes and who lost his life in the collision. Two other centaurs were also serious and due to their injuries they were transported urgently with two helicopters – which landed in the area – one at the Annunziata in Cosenza and the other at the Pugliese in Catanzaro. In addition to the 118 health workers, the carabinieri from the local station intervened on site and started investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of what happened. Anas staff are also in action to allow circulation to be restored in the shortest possible time.
