Small village, big party. The Sagra di San Marco is back again this year, organized by the local proloco Jutizzo of Codroipo. Starting on Saturday 20th, the event for all its loyal audiences lasts for two entire weekends (until the 28th) to which are added the celebrations on the occasion of April 25th.
After the “Marcie di San Marc” and the great crafts market exhibition, the program continues on 25 April, Liberation Day, with the Cultural Day of Books, as well as the Holy Mass celebrated under the tent, the official celebrations and then lots music and good food until the evening.
The evening of Saturday 27th includes 70s and 80s rock music with various bands, while space for sport on Sunday morning with the mini-basketball tournament. Kitchens also open for lunch and a grand finale with the Caribbean evening.
There are many grilled specialties, from ribs and sausage to spit-roasted cockerel, through to fried calamari and the inevitable frico, wiener schnitzer, frankfurters and French fries.
