The Sita bus, which from Amalfi it leads to Agerola, it’s packed. Inside the vehicle not only seated passengers but the entire corridor occupied by standing people. On the street there are many other travellers, mostly tourists, pushing to get on board. But the Sita driver has his doors locked. And this, last night – Saturday 27 April – around 7pm, in Piazza Flavio Gioia, unleashed shoving and shouting.
Among those who protested, there was also a 32 year old tourist from Viareggio. Which was in the company of his girlfriend and he wanted to reach Agerola, where he was in the hotel. He was the most agitated of all. So much so that he first started screaming, then banging his hands on the bus, finally he punched the glass of the front doorthe entrance one.
The force of the blow shattered the glass, the splinters hit some passengers and especially the driver of the Sita. But the most important injury was to the Tuscan tourist, who had to seek medical attention. The police have identified the man who, however, had already apologized to the driver and had ensured compensation for the damage.
