Fortunately, no injuries were reported , but the accident has sown fear and dismay among those who live and frequent the area. The event, which occurred on the fifth floor of an apartment building, caused the partial collapse of the wall next to a balcony, resulting in the dispersion of debris and dust on parked cars and on the steps below. Firefighters and law enforcement quickly intervened on site, evacuated the area and started investigations to establish the causes of the incident.

According to the investigators’ initial hypotheses, the explosion could have been caused by a fault or a gas leak from a pipe serving the area. The authorities are now examining the possibility that the pipe in question had recently undergone maintenance work, as reported by some residents of the neighborhood. While we proceed with the inspection of the building involved, the firefighters are working to ensure the safety of the surrounding area, carefully monitoring any development.
