Starting from May 23rd, at the Forensic Genetics laboratory in Palermo, unique biological tests will be carried out on the 12 swabs used for the sampling of presumed blood substances. Samples seized in the dealership square at the entrance to Villaggio Moses where Roberto Di Falco from Palma was killed on 29 February.

Consultants and lawyers appointed by the parties will also be able to participate in the examinations of the Regional Cabinet of the Scientific Police, arranged by the prosecutor’s office – these are non-repeatable investigations. In addition to Angelo Di Falco, 39 years old, brother of the victim, Calogero Zarbo, 40 years old and Domenico Avanzato, 37 years old, all from Palma, are accused.

The results of the tests, i.e. the genetic profiles obtained, will then be inserted into the DNA database.

The tragedy of Villaggio Moses, the reconstructions: four against one and “murder by mistake”

The investigation into what happened at the entrance to the Villaggio Moses was handled, and still continues to be, by the policemen of the Agrigento police headquarters’ flying squad, coordinated by the prosecutor Giovanni Di Leo and the prosecutor Gaspare Bentivegna.

Cell phones and SIM cards used by the three suspects have already been searched. And it was done because they could reconstruct movements, messages and phone calls before, during and after what, according to the investigators, would have been a failed ambush.

The prosecutor’s office believes that it was a punitive expedition that ended badly. The dealer, in particular, apparently had a debt with Roberto Di Falco linked to the sale of cars and the argument on this point would have triggered an ambush. The same victim, moreover, had a vehicle dealership.
