The Friday evening previews have concluded, kicking off the thirty-fifth day of B series. Venezia wins the top-ranking match by beating Cremonese 2-1. Goals and emotions in Pisa-Catanzaro, which ended 2-2. The Calabrians, who wasted the double advantage, with this result are still sure of playing in the playoffs for promotion to the top flight.
VENICE-CREMONESE
Venezia continues to believe in Serie A. Very important comeback at the “Pier Luigi Penzo” against an unpredictable Cremonese team. And in fact here in the 24th minute is the goal that unlocks the match in favor of the grey-reds who make good use of a lack of attention from the orange-green defence: Vazquez with his left foot into the bottom corner gives the advantage to his team who realize the only shot on goal gained in the first portion of the game.

Great double intervention by Joronen in the 91st minute after Ciofani had tried to enter the fray, the ball was thrown out. The last minutes are frenetic, with Cremonese throwing themselves forward but the final whistle arrives. Comeback completed and momentary second place. Venezia joins Como in second place awaiting tomorrow’s match against Sampdoria.
PISA-CATANZARO
Over 8 thousand spectators at the Arena Garibaldi to push Pisa towards a place in the playoffs. As always, many (600) came from Catanzaro. Calabresi remains out for the hosts, chance for Barbieri on the left. In attack, Bonfanti wins the run-off with Moreo. Vivarini does not risk the feverish Iemmello. The offensive tandem is made up of Biasci and Ambrosino.
90 seconds and the guests are already ahead. On the corner kicked masterfully by Vandeputte he beats Pontisso and scores the first center of the season. Pisa hit cold but the reaction is there. Opportunities for D’Alessandro, Arena and Valoti (twice), however the result does not change and Catanzaro goes to half-time at 0-1.
