MG4, here’s how much it will cost with the new 2024 incentives

MG4 immediately achieved good success in terms of sales in Europe and Italy thanks above all to an attractive price. The electric car from the MG car manufacturer which is now part of the SAIC Group is offered in these versions:

  • MG4 Standard: 125 kW of power, 51 kWh battery and 350 km autonomy – price of 30,790 euros
  • MG4 Comfort: 150 kW of power, 64 kWh battery and 450 km autonomy – price of 34,790 euros
  • MG4 Luxury: 150 kW of power, 64 kWh battery and 435 km autonomy – price of 36,790 euros
  • MG4 Thophy Extended Range: 180 kW of power, 77 kWh battery and 520 km autonomy – price of 40,290 euros
  • MG4 Xpower: 320 kW of power, 64 kWh battery and 385 km autonomy – price of 41,290 euros

All versions are compatible with the incentives given that the Ecobonus provides that a car must not cost more than 35,000 euros plus VAT, i.e. 42,700 euros. Currently, it is possible to have 3,000 euros of contribution without scrapping or 5,000 euros with scrapping of an old model. During the month of May, if the Government does not delay further, the new 2024 incentives should come into force which will allow for a significantly higher contribution than the current one, even of over 13,000 euros with the scrapping of a car up to Euro 2 and ISEE under 30,000 euros.

So, with the new Ecobonus 2024, how much will the MG4 cost?

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST WITH THE NEW INCENTIVES?

If I don’t have a car to scrap, the new incentives provide, however, a bonus of 6,000 euros which rises to 7,500 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros. In this scenario, here’s how much the different versions of MG4 will cost. Obviously, we do not consider any promotions of the car manufacturer.

  • MG4 Standard: 24,790 euros – 23,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Comfort: 28,790 euros – 27,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Luxury: 30,790 euros – 29,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Trophy Extended Range: 34,290 euros – 32,790 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Xpower: 35,290 euros – 33,790 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros

If you have Euro 3 or 4 cars to scrap you can have the following discounts: with Euro 3 10,000/12,500 euros and with Euro 4 9,000/11,250 euros. Here are the prices of MG4 with a Euro 4 car to be scrapped.

  • MG4 Standard: 21,790 euros – 19,540 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Comfort: 25,790 euros – 23,540 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Luxury: 27,790 euros – 25,540 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Trophy Extended Range: 31,290 euros – 29,040 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Xpower: 32,290 euros – 30,040 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros

Here, however, are the prices of the MG4 with a Euro 3 car and for scrapping.

  • MG4 Standard: 20,790 euros – 18,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Comfort: 24,790 euros – 22,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Luxury: 26,790 euros – 24,290 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Trophy Extended Range: 30,290 euros – 27,790 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Xpower: 31,290 euros – 28,790 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros

If instead, you have an old car up to Euro 2 that needs to be scrapped, the contribution increases substantially and can even reach up to 11,000 euros or 13,750 euros (ISEE under 30,000 euros). Here’s how the price list changes.

  • MG4 Standard: 19,790 euros – 17,040 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Comfort: 23,790 euros – 21,040 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Luxury: 25,790 euros – 23,040 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Trophy Extended Range: 29,290 euros – 26,540 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros
  • MG4 Xpower: 30,290 euros – 27,540 euros with ISEE under 30,000 euros

In short, in the best case scenario, the MG4 can start from around 17,000 euros. All that remains is to wait for the new 2024 incentives to come into force.
