As a footballer he made millions of fans dream, especially those of Napoli; Now he tries his hand at a new sport but doesn’t lose his habit of winning. Gonzalo Higuain is dedicating himself to padel, like many former footballers, but for him it seems to be something more than a simple pastime. In fact ‘Il Pipita’ won its first trophy on Thursday 25 April.
Together with the Venezuelan Tarek Deham, Higuain triumphed at Club Miramar in Miami; for about a year he has been attending the Open Padel CLub in Miramar, in the city where he ended his career as a footballer (Inter Miami). First title in the Open category for the 36-year-old who seems in splendid shape and manages to be very effective on the padel court. Higuain has changed his life, closing their social accounts and dedicating themselves to a new sport. In America he seems to live peacefully and with the aim of achieving goals in the new sport he has decided to practice. as stated several times and at different times, he intends to finally enjoy life and family as he had not been able to do when he was still ‘just’ a footballer.
