Barcelona have been fined 25,000 euros by UEFA for incidents of racism during the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. This is the consequence of the videos that showed some individuals intent on performing the Nazi salute and imitating the sound of the monkey. Today the Blaugrana club issued an official statement in which it announced sanctions against the perpetrators of such racist behavior: “FC Barcelona informs that the club’s disciplinary committee has decided to temporarily suspend the membership of people arrested by the French police during the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against PSG in Paris on April 10. At the same time, the third defendant was informed that he is now banned from purchasing FC Barcelona tickets, both for home and home events. for those away.
