Lorenzo Toma, aka THE PROFILEis a young singer-songwriter from Salento who cultivates
the passion for music since he was a child, a passion that became his dream
greatest: telling people about himself through his songs.
“The day after” it is the story of the silence that follows loss, especially in
subsequent hours. That deafening silence that is consumed in the hearts of those who remain, sung giving voice to the thoughts of those who live breathlessly for a door that will never open again. The
text shares the philosophy of Ugo Foscoloso “no one dies on earth
as long as it lives in the hearts of those who remain” (No one dies if you give them a part of yours
heart), underlining how the memory, although painful, is strength, comfort and
part of each of us.
Over the years he has participated in various local competitions and embarked on the path of live music in local clubs to promote his songs. She released her first single “ventiduezerouno” in December 2020following
from “my sweatshirt” and “blazer blue” respectively in 2021.
In June 2022 with “Tuttattaccato” he enters the Pop Hits Italia chart on Spotify and
embarks on a musical journey with Rory Di Benedetto and Giuseppe
Macchitella, with whom he reaches music distribution with Sony Music
Italy. In January of 2023 publishes “Margherita con grana” and last July
the latest single entitled “Simba”. On April 23, 2024 she published “The day after”, a special record release that anticipates his first album of unreleased songs on which he has already been working for several months.
