Lazio continues to monitor Patrick Dorgu. Formello really likes the Danish winger from Lecce, as we told you some time ago. It was a name that had already received attention from sporting director Fabiani, who found deep approval from Igor Tudor. Dorgu had started the season as a left back in a four-man defence, Gotti’s arrival at the “Via del Mare” changed his position and now the 2004 class plays in a more advanced area, as a high winger, with excellent results. So his natural position could probably be full-back, freed from stringent defensive tasks, freer to attack and to give breathing space to the offensive manoeuvre. Dorgu is intriguing because he has explosive physical skills and good technical qualities, he made 29 appearances and two goals this season. He fits perfectly into the squad rejuvenation plan that Lazio has in mind, Dorgu will turn 20 in October, he is a talent, he can become a hot target. Lazio will test the waters with Lecce and the player’s agent, we will try to understand the feasibility of the operation, considering that there are several teams on Dorgu: Atalanta, Juventus and Milan.
