Ballon d’Or 2024, voting for Promotion, Second and Third Category begins

The wait is over! Voting for the Ballon d’Or officially opens Promotion, Second And Third Categoryfrom which the best players in each category will then be elected and rewarded on the evening of Monday 13 May at the MIV cinema in Varese during the 13th edition of the Varese Sport Award.

PROMOTION

SIMONE BORSANI (Bmv Academy): striker born in 1996, he scored 8 goals in the season and accompanied his team on a ride that earned them 2nd place with 57 points. SECOND CATEGORY

MANUEL BERNASCONI (Caesar): The striker born in 2000 recorded his best season ever with 26 goals, goals which greatly helped his team to achieve their goal of survival.

LORENZO CALDOGNO (Cuassese): young full-back born in 2002, he found himself in the presence of many strong attackers and never disfigured himself, in fact he deserved the nomination from the coaches.

EMANUELE COSSO (Valceresio): The striker born in ’94 is now a regular at this event given that last year he was a candidate for the First Category award with Luino. This year he chose a change of scenery and took the summit together with his companions.

FRANCESCO GIARDINO (Eagles Caronno): midfielder born in ’97 was undoubtedly the cornerstone of his team, as well as a player who left his mark with his plays throughout the season

PIETRO PIVATO (France Sport): the dream of 1st place is over, now all energies are concentrated on the last day and the playoffs. The striker born in 2003, who has scored 23 goals to date, wants to fight until the end with his teammates for something big.

THIRD CATEGORY

ALESSANDRO BELTRAMI (Brebbia): striker born in ’91 for Brebbia, he won the Third Category title and it couldn’t have been otherwise given that 27 times, and in all possible ways, he punctured the opposing goalkeepers. YAHAYA KEITA (Concagnese): the bitter taste in the mouth for the missed title, a great desire for revenge in the next playoffs: the striker born in ’97 certainly doesn’t want to stop after the 23 goals scored in the regular season, and is ready to be a protagonist also in the next challenges in or out.

MATTIA MEDDE (Sumiraghese): a past in Solbiatese, then only Sumirago in the heart. Super season for the striker born in 2001 who scored 21 goals helping his team reach 4th place with 44 points.

STEFANO DOSI (Casbeno): defender born in ’97, he was able to keep the championship attacks at bay with all his determination. The season with the team was worth an 8th place with 27 points.
