PERUGIA – With ten blocks, defense and counterattack, Sir Susa Vim Perugia beat Mint Vero Volley Monza 3 to 1 (partials 25-15, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19) in the third act of the championship final. A shot that is worth the lead in the Italian series (2-1). The protagonists of the latest success, won in front of the 4,986 of the PalaBarton (record for the facility since the capacity expansion) were Ben Tara and captain Leon, who found the deadly serve, decisive in the final. On his part, the assurance that Sir will give everything to win: «We will continue to do our best», he said at the end of the match. On Sunday, Sir will be able to try to close the series in game 4, scheduled for 6pm at the Opiquad Arena. In the event of a victory for Brianza, the series would return to 2-2, with the match on May 1st at PalaBarton being decisive.

Another great block helps Perugia get back ahead (18-15) and manage the set (17-21). The set ends with the Leon show on serve (17-23) and yet another outburst from an excellent Ben Tara (25-19).
