Modena, 26 April 2024 – A little girl of just a few months died at homeone tragedy which affected a family from the lower Modena area.
The incident occurred during the night between Wednesday and yesterday, in the family’s home. Nothing would have foreshadowed deathabout which there would be no doubts regarding natural causes.
The newborn – apparently just three months old – may have been affected by syndrome suddenness of cot death or from an illness. It is not excluded that she may have remained suffocated by regurgitation. The 118 paramedics were on site for a long time but unfortunately there was nothing left to do. The police also intervened. It was clear from the beginning how it was handled of a tragic fatality. For this reason, the little girl’s body was immediately released by the judiciary for her funeral and an autopsy will not be carried out.
The whole community was shocked while the family is grieving. In 2018 another case of cot death: the mother woke up to realize that the newborn was no longer breathing.
The so-called Sidsthe causes of which remain unknown to date, affects children between one month and one year of age.
