After restarting his engines and inflaming his fans with the unreleased Novichok, Piero Pelù is ready to return with a new single entitled Damn Heart. The song, published on the Epic Records/Sony Music Italy label, will be released on radio and digital platforms on April 26th. Damn heart And Novichok are two of the tracks that will be featured in Desertsthe new album expected for June 7th. Deserts is the second chapter of Trilogy of Discomfortwork that began in 2020 with the release of the album Fragile boxers. While Novichok is musically very linked to Litfiba’s roots (for this reason Pelù decided to present him to his fans in a very important place for him, namely the cellar in via De’ Bardi in Florence where Litfiba were born and took their first steps and where he did not sang since the end of 1988), Damn heart is another piece in the construction of Desertsthe first rock ballad of the new album.

“Damned Heart – says Pelù – is a rock ballad that addresses the theme of the difficulty of communication between people, in love relationships but even more broadly in human relationships in general. On the one hand there is the awareness of being overwhelmed by one’s own inner chaos and on the other the need to share one’s reality knowing how difficult it is to do so”. Cursed Heart is a journey through the dunes of the deserts in search of the others we need to help us understand ourselves and the chaos inside and outside of us”. “Lessons of resistance” from the chaos of the world where what history has given us delivered as absolute evil is dangerously re-presenting itself. Piero Pelù’s Deserti Tour will start on 29 June from Spilimbergo (PN) before continuing on 26 July in Castiglione del Lago (PG), on 27 July in Porto Recanati (MC), on 9 August in Asiago (VI), on 16 in Noto (SR), on the 18th in Bagheria (PA), on the 20th in Roccella Jonica (RC), on the 22nd in San Pancrazio Salentino (BR), on the 24th in Veroli (FR) and ending on September 13th in Cernobbio (CO) .
