“The day will come when perhaps humanity will understand that everything it has done, everything it does and everything it will do, is as if it happened in a drop of dew hanging from the tip of a blade of grass, on a lonely mountain at dawn on a sunny day. One day we will understand that humanity is only one, that of yesterday, that of today and that of tomorrow; that there is only one life, that it is a wonderful phenomenon and that we are united by a thin helical thread called DNA.” by Hamer Salazar, publication by Elisa Mascia from San Giuliano di Puglia -Campobasso

Silent singing
By Hámer Salazar

A kingfisher dives to the bottom of the lake and comes out with a fish in its beak; an ant cuts off the head of the anthill carrying a petal from a small flower; a human reaps what he has sown in the field…
Each of them is a piece of life. Every form of life, no matter how bizarre, beautiful or spectacular, is a miracle, because we know of no other place in the Universe where life exists.
We all share this miracle, that of the transformation of the elements of nature into organic molecules, into DNA, into cellular organelles, into cells… Even into marvelous forms of RNA which do not become life forms but which are capable of bringing the world to its knees. humanity, like the chiropterophilic virus that divided the history of humanity into a before and an after COVID-19.
All life is generated by other life and everything on this beautiful Planet was generated in it, so it is a living Planet, a Planet that breathes with the seasons; that dances in the solar system and moves with the stars; that twists its insides to form volcanoes, mountains, lakes and oceans; who plays with water transforming it into cloud, rain, snow, frost or dew; which makes it silky in the tiny drops of mist that form in waterfalls, or hard as rock when it turns into hail; playful like the waves or dangerous when rivers and gorges overflow.
A Planet that puts on makeup and flirts by dressing in gold at sunset, having fun at night with the Northern Lights or, after a rainy afternoon, crowning itself with a rainbow. Human beings are one more species in planetary biodiversity. But not just any species. It is the one that has been capable of transforming much of the earth’s landscape.
Where once there were jungles, deserts or lakes, today there are cities, asphalt, roofs, cultivated fields… Billions of wild plants and animals have lost their habitat and populations have been significantly reduced, some even disappeared forever from the face of the Planet.
In 1900 alone the population was around two billion, today there are around eight billion humans. We all require construction materials for homes and buildings; we all need water and food, fibers or synthetic materials to make our clothes; vegetable fibers for paper production…

We move on planes, ships, trains and all types of vehicles built with metals or plastics, in any case raw materials extracted from the earth and transformed.
On the planet, as Heraclitus said, the constant is change. The fish that the kingfisher took out of the lake will become more kingfisher; the piece of flower that the ant brings will be food for a mushroom, which will then be devoured by the ant… The harvest that the farmer will harvest and that will arrive on our tables we will transform into more human beings. Everything we consume comes from the earth and is transformed to become the biological creature we are. We are elements of nature transformed into human beings.
And as everything changes, the biodiversity of the Planet will also change and adapt to new environmental conditions.
We humans are newcomers to the cast of biodiversity and perhaps a species with an ephemeral existence, and this beautiful blue sphere will continue to dance with the other Planets and continue its journey in sidereal space, but without the human being.

The day will come when perhaps humanity will understand that everything it has done, everything it does and everything it will do, is as if it happened in a drop of dew hanging from the tip of a blade of grass, on a solitary mountain at dawn on a sunny day. One day we will understand that humanity is only one, that of yesterday, that of today and that of tomorrow; that there is only one life, that it is a wonderful phenomenon and that we are united by a thin helical thread called DNA.
Maybe one day we will understand that life is not a constant struggle, because otherwise we will be at permanent war with life itself, with our fellow men and with the Planet; that peace is a deception because we have conceived it as the absence of war, or perhaps we will understand it too late, when someone has activated the red buttons…
It is then that the human turmoil will cease, the Planet will reverberate and the Universe will listen to the silent song with the memory of the human conscience, his and mine, which will no longer sing the wonders of what exists.

Silent singing
By Hámer Salazar

A kingfisher dives to the bottom of the lake and climbs up with a piece; a short hormiga goes to the hormiguero picking up a petal of a small flower; a human picks up things in the field…
Each one of them is a trozo of life. Every form of life, no matter how bizarre, beautiful or spectacular it is, is a thousand, because we don’t know any other place in the universe where life exists.
Let us all share this thousand, the transformation of the elements of nature into organic molecules, into ADN, into cellular organs, into cells… Included in marvelous forms of ARN which are not related to being forms of life but which are capable of being the humanity of rods, like the quiropteran virus that divided the history of humanity before and after COVID-19.
All life is engendered by other life and all that there is in this marvelous planet has been engendrated in it, because it is a living planet. A planet that breathes with the stations; who dances in the solar system and moves with the stars; that returns its entrances to form volcanoes, mountains, lakes and oceans; which plays with the water transforming it into a cloud, rain, snow, dry or rock; which makes it sedate in the tiny black fingers that form in the waterfalls, or as hard as the rock when it turns into granite; juguetona like the trees or hairy when they overflow rivers and quebradas.
A planet that is so beautifully maquilled and covered in gold can be seen in the late afternoon, enjoying itself at night with the Northern Lights or, after a late rain, crowning itself with an arch. Humans are a greater species in planetary biodiversity. But not a cualquiera species. It is the one that is capable of transforming a large part of the earth’s landscape. Where before there were forests, deserts or lakes, today there were cities, asphalt, techos, cultivation fields… Miles of thousands of plants and wild animals have lost their habitats and the people have seen significantly reduced, some included, they have disappeared forever. the faz of the planet.
Only in the year 1900 was the population looking for two thousand thousand people, today we walked around the eyes of a million thousand humans. We all require construction materials for living and buildings; we all need water and food, fibers or synthetic materials to make our clothes; vegetable fibers for paper production…

We move on airplanes, boats, trains and all types of vehicles built with metal or plastic materials, in all cases, raw materials outside the earth and transformed.
And it is that, on the planet, as Heráclito said, the constant is change. Because when I remove the kingfisher from the lake, it will become more of a kingfisher; the clot of flowers that the hormiga will carry will be the food for a hongo, which will then be devoured by the hormiga… the thing that the farmer appreciates and that will attach to our crops we will also transform it into more human beings. Everything we consume comes from the earth and is transformed to convert it into the biological creature that we are. These elements of nature transformed into human beings.
And as everything changes, the biodiversity of the planet will also change and adapt to new environmental conditions.
Humans are included in the list of biodiversity and questions, a species with an ephemeral existence, and this neat blue sphere will continue dancing with the other planets and will follow its journey through sidereal space, but without being human.
He will remember the day in which humanity understands that everything he has, everything he does and everything he will have, is how he will find himself on a rock’s cheek hanging from the tip of a wisp of grass, on a lonely mountain to the love of a sunny day. Someday we will understand that humanity is only one, the day, the day and the day; that life is only one, that it is a marvelous phenomenon and that we are united by a short helical shaft called ADN.
Some days we understand that life is not a constant life, because if we were not like that, we would be in permanent war with our own life, with our peers and with the planet; that peace is an engaño because we conceive it as the absence of war, or sometimes we understand it late, when someone has activated the red buttons…
This is when the human throng ceases, the planet will turn green and the universe will hear the silent song with the memory of the human conscience, of its own and of mine, that it will no longer sing the wonders of how many exist.
