Change of leadership in the Avetrana Women’s Council: Giovanna Anna Dinoi takes the place of Alessia Lamusta

Mimma Rizzello assumes the role of vice president. Simona Elia and Mariangela Giannini joined the coordination, with the latter designated as secretary

In Avetrana, a reorganization of the Women’s Council is underway, thanks to the commitment of the Municipality of Avetrana represented by the councilor Elisabetta Marchetti and the president of the Council Mariella Carrozzo. «The objective is to promote actions aimed at enhancing the female population and defending their right to participate in the political and administrative life of the country» reads a note from the Consulta.

«Recently, there has been a significant change in coordination, with Alessia Lamusta leaving the position of president to make way for Giovanna Anna Dinoi as her replacement.

The transition also saw the renewal of other key figures in the coordination, with Mimma Rizzello taking on the role of vice president. Through a voting process, Simona Elia and Mariangela Giannini became part of the coordination, with the latter designated as secretary by the new president. It should be noted that Giovanna Greco, already a member of the previous team, is also included in the coordination.

The new coordination is already at work and in the coming months will be committed to organizing various events and initiatives for the benefit of the community. Among the objectives and next planned initiatives:

May 23: Mediterranean walk to discover beneficial natural plants.

June 16: “Pink Walk”, an event for prevention.

25-30 June: “Holistic wellbeing week”, opportunity to learn about new holistic disciplines useful for supporting psycho-physical wellbeing.

July 13: “Women in art”.
