A morning of sport, fun. The 39th edition of “The fastest in town”, historic Endas format relaunched by the Regional School Office and Stars in Sport, with the support of Endas itself, Sport and Health and Fidal Liguria.
As many as 300 students from classes 3-4-5 of the primary school and the 1st classes of the secondary school took to the track to compete in the distances of 50 and 60 metres, also being able to try the vortex throw and long jump. The activities were coordinated by the Sports Science students of the University of Genoa, while the groups of students were entrusted to the tutors of the Pertini High School who coordinated the morning’s activities. These are the schools present: IC Oregina, IC Pegli, IC Staglieno, IC Marassi, IC Pontedecimo, IC Foce, Istituto Santa Maria ad Nives, IC Rivarolo, IC Campomorone Ceranesi, IC Sestri Est, IC San Teodoro.
Stars in Sport gave each student an “Energy for Sport” gadget provided by Iren Luce Gas e Servizi and offered everyone a healthy snack thanks to the collaboration of SGM Fruit and Vegetable Market of Genoa and Panarello. On the occasion of the awards ceremony, the 300 registered students were given a participation medal while the “fastest” of the 3rd, 4th, 5th elementary and 1st middle school classes obviously took the podium. The Stars in Sport Oscar went toFoce Comprehensive Institute who achieved the best results with his students. IC Rivarolo and IC Campomorone Ceranesi instead, they were awarded two GenovaRent vouchers worth 100 euros having participated with the greatest number of students.
In short, a nice party for everyone, waiting for the big one Sports Festival. In a month there will be an appointment withSchool Olympics scheduled at the Porto Antico of Genoa with an innovative format that will see primary and lower secondary students having fun and discovering new sports disciplines along sports courses created by the Stelle Nello Sport staff thanks to the collaboration of the instructors of the over 50 areas of games and sports. An event promoted with the patronage of USR Liguria, Coni, Sport and Health and with the support of the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Genoa, the Carige Foundation and the institutional partnerships with Porto Antico and the Genoa Chamber of Commerce.
