“Aversa Employment Center still closed: urgent question from the Regional Councilor of the League, Antonella Piccerillo: «We want guarantees on the reopening»
Still no certain news on the possible reopening of the Aversa Employment Center which from 16 April was transferred to a temporary location at the former Ciapi headquarters in S. Nicola la Strada (CE), about 25 km away from the Norman city . «It is really difficult to believe that the only “buffer solution” was found about an hour – we read in the press release – away from the city of Aversa» – states the Regional Councilor of the League, Antonella Piccerillo, who in the last hours filed a question addressed to the Councilor with responsibility for work, Antonio Marchiello.
«The Employment Center of the Norman city is the point of reference for a basin that includes more than fifty thousand users; these are people in difficulty who cannot face further inconveniences due to the costs of transport to the outskirts of the capital. The same goes for the employees – we read further – who would have deserved the continuation of the agile working that had been granted to them, at least until the completion of the works to adapt the premises in Via Pommella and who, therefore, will have to face unexpected costs and inconveniences . At this moment I am afraid that there is a real risk that Aversa will no longer have an Employment Centre, given that it is not the first time that a regional office has been temporarily – continues the statement – closed never to be reopened. I hope that it remains only a concern of mine, just as I hope to soon receive guarantees from the Council on the continuity of services through an official and certain reopening date of the Aversa Employment Centre”.
